Having been raised in an ultra marathon and cycling family and started her own competitive career at the age of six, Lora has been immersed in the culture of competitive athletics her entire life.
As an adult, she professionally gravitated towards equestrian sports where she was a professional on racetrack and the A/AA hunter/jumper circuit. Here, her clients included multiple Olympians and internationally competitive athletes. It was during this experience that Lora the principles of achieving performance at the highest competitive levels through consistency and uncompromising standards.
It was also during this time that Lora began to compete in triathlon, later narrowing in on bike racing and track racing, specifically, as her personal athletic focus. She became a dedicated student of the sport, which quickly evolved into formal education, mentoring other athletes, and becoming a coach. She capped this education with an education in bike fit under John Cobb of Cobb Cycling in order to optimize the relationship between athletes and their equipment.
Lora adheres to evidence-based principles in exercise science to form the foundation of her programming and she thrives on solving the puzzle that is each new athlete.
Lora lives in Austin, TX with her husband, 2 dogs, three cats, and 11 bikes.
